About the Event
Are you interested in caring for nature? Join us as a Conservation Volunteer and come along to our seed collection day this Birak Season!
When we revegetate sites, it is important to use local plants that are able to survive and thrive in the harsh environment. We spend a half day collecting seeds from Gidgegannup and Worooloo Brook to grow on site.
Volunteers need to bring a water bottle and wear long pants, a long-sleeved shirt, boots or sturdy shoes, and a broad-brimmed hat. It is also recommended that volunteers bring and use sun-screen (30+) and tropical-strength insect repellent.
Contact our team via email email@example.com for meeting points and more info . Hope to see you there!
