As One Nyitting Limited is seeking to raise $3 million to establish the Djilz Boodja Research Centre in Gidgegannup, Western Australia—a world-class First Nations-led centre dedicated to cultural knowledge preservation, bush food and medicinal plant research, environmental conservation, youth leadership, wellbeing, and caring for country.
The Djilz Boodja Research Centre will become a living place of learning where ancient Noongar knowledge and contemporary science work together to protect biodiversity, strengthen cultural identity, improve community wellbeing, and create sustainable economic opportunities for future generations.
