Between 2017 and 2019, As One Nyitting Ltd collaborated with Muresk Institute and Greening Australia to create a Caring for Country Pathway. This program emphasized learning through a connection with the land, offering students the chance to understand their responsibilities as future cultural leaders. For twelve months, the students participated in the Caring for Country pathway, attending sessions for one week each month to study livestock, machinery, and conservation land management.
The AONL pathway was acknowledged by the Minister in 2018 and was honored with the Innovation Award
Thirty students participated in planting millions of native species throughout Ballardong and Yuet. These plants continue to thrive, benefiting the soil, flora, and fauna.
